Disobeying a Nevada traffic signal or stop sign will earn you 4
demerits assigned to your Nevada Driving Record. After twelve months
from the date of conviction the demerits will be removed, although
convictions do remain as part of your permanent driving record.
There is not one standard fine for running a red light in Nevada.
Each county where you received the ticket will have a schedule of
fines, court appearance data, and answers to any questions, not the
Department of Motor Vehicles.
