Accidents will happen if traffic signals are not obeyed.
Vehicles and pedestrians are in danger of someone running a red
light. Once the light turns, both often assumes that the vehicles
in the other directions have or will stop. If a pedestrian is in
an accident with a vehicle, they often are injured or even
killed. Vehicles can be in a ‘t-bone’ crash which occurs when the
front end of one collides with the driver or passenger’s side door of
another. The severity of the crash can range from minor injuries
to death. Intersections are dangerous places and should be
entered with caution. Not everyone obeys the traffic laws.
